What is driving Germany's growth in the age of AI?

Karl-Heinz Land has more than four decades of experience in the technology sector. His career began in the mid-1980s as one of Oracle’s early employees in Germany.
In the following years he worked internationally and lived, among other places, in the USA, where he took on leadership positions at companies such as BusinessObjects (SAP) and MicroStrategy and played a significant role in shaping the development of data-driven business models.
In 2014 he founded the management consultancy neuland with a focus on digital transformation, followed in 2020 by the investment company neuland ventures and in 2023 by the AI platform neuland.ai – a legally compliant platform developed in Europe that enables companies to integrate artificial intelligence in a practical and responsible way.
As an entrepreneur, author of numerous books – including Erde 5.0 – and sought-after keynote speaker, he develops visions of a connected, sustainable and technology-driven future society and advocates the responsible use of artificial intelligence in Europe.
In 2006 he was recognised by the World Economic Forum in Davos and by Time Magazine as a “Technology Pioneer”. Born in 1962, he is married to the gallerist Priska Pasquer and father of four children as well as grandfather of several grandchildren.

Yunus Uyargil is an entrepreneur, software architect and digital transformation expert with a particular focus on artificial intelligence and scalable platform solutions.
Early on, he worked intensively with artificial intelligence and, at Volkswagen, worked on an AI-powered fatigue detection system for the vehicle environment. Practical work on safety-critical applications continues to shape his view of the responsible use of AI to this day.
As co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of the eHealth company heartbeat medical, he built a digital platform that makes the quality of medical treatment measurable and supports organisations in healthcare with data-driven optimisation of their processes.
Today, alongside Karl-Heinz Land, he is co-founder, board member and Chief Technology Officer of neuland.ai AG. There, he is responsible for the overall technology architecture, product development and the implementation of scalable, legally compliant AI solutions for companies and organisations.
Yunus Uyargil represents a new generation of technology entrepreneurs who combine deep technical understanding with entrepreneurial clarity — with the aim of integrating artificial intelligence into companies and organisations in a practical, responsible and effective way.
