Was treibt Deutschlands Wachstum im KI-Zeitalter?:

Karl-Heinz Land verfügt über mehr als vier Jahrzehnte Erfahrung in der Technologiebranche. Seine Karriere begann Mitte der 1980er-Jahre als einer der frühen Mitarbeiter von Oracle in Deutschland. In den folgenden Jahren war er international tätig und lebte unter anderem in den USA, wo er Führungspositionen bei Unternehmen wie BusinessObjects (SAP) und MicroStrategy übernahm und die Entwicklung datengetriebener Geschäftsmodelle maßgeblich mitprägte.
2014 gründete er die Unternehmensberatung neuland mit Fokus auf digitale Transformation, 2020 folgte die Beteiligungsgesellschaft neuland ventures und 2023 die KI-Plattform neuland.ai – eine in Europa entwickelte, rechtssichere Plattform, die Unternehmen eine praxisnahe und verantwortungsvolle Integration von Künstlicher Intelligenz ermöglicht.
Als Unternehmer, Autor zahlreicher Bücher – darunter Erde 5.0 – und gefragter Keynote Speaker entwirft er Visionen einer vernetzten, nachhaltigen und technologisch geprägten Zukunftsgesellschaft und setzt sich für den verantwortungsvollen Einsatz von Künstlicher Intelligenz in Europa ein.
Im Jahr 2006 wurde er vom World Economic Forum in Davos sowie vom Time Magazine als „Technology Pioneer“ ausgezeichnet.
Geboren 1962, ist er mit der Galeristin Priska Pasquer verheiratet und Vater von vier Kindern sowie Großvater von mehreren Enkelkindern.
