Cologne, 18 March 2026 – The Cologne-based AI technology company neuland.ai AG has established an interdisciplinary Future Advisory Board as an independent body to support the development and deployment of artificial intelligence in Germany and Europe in a responsible and forward-looking manner. The Future Advisory Board sees itself as a think tank at the interface of science, business, politics, ethics and society, and will advise neuland.ai on strategic AI-related issues while providing impetus for a common-good-oriented AI transformation.

At the heart of the board’s work is the question of how artificial intelligence is changing value creation, the world of work, social systems, education, public administration, politics and social coexistence, and how this development can be shaped responsibly. The Future Advisory Board will analyse the impacts of AI from different disciplinary perspectives, identify opportunities and risks at an early stage, and formulate practical recommendations for action, both for neuland.ai and for businesses, policymakers, public administration and civil society.

By appointing the Future Advisory Board, neuland.ai is structurally embedding interdisciplinarity and social responsibility in its corporate strategy. The members contribute proven expertise from academia, politics, public administration, theology, ethics, medicine, business and AI research. The aim is to develop guardrails for sovereign, innovative and common-good-oriented AI development and to support neuland.ai on its path towards a trustworthy, secure and regulation-compliant AI platform “Made in Germany”.

The results of the board’s work are intended to feed directly into the further development of the neuland.ai HUB, neuland.ai’s AI management and orchestration platform. In this way, ethical, legal and societal requirements are to be consistently integrated into the platform strategy and “Ethics by Design” implemented in practice. The neuland.ai HUB is thus to be systematically expanded as a secure, legally compliant and data-sovereign AI platform that enables businesses, organisations and public institutions to use AI in a trustworthy way.

Karl-Heinz Land, CEO and founder of neuland.ai AG: “With the neuland.ai HUB, we have developed an AI management and orchestration platform that enables companies, public administration and organisations to deploy AI in a legally compliant, secure and productive way. The Future Advisory Board complements this technological foundation with a strong interdisciplinary perspective. We are delighted that distinguished figures from ethics, academia, politics, medicine and business are willing to support us in a critically constructive manner. Their experience and foresight will help us bring responsibility, innovation and regulation into harmony and develop AI solutions that meet societal expectations.”

The Future Advisory Board works on a voluntary basis. The body brings together personalities who stand for professional excellence, social responsibility and foresight in shaping the future of AI. The current members of the Future Advisory Board are:
