Why the great AI transformation needs platforms and not tools
We are at the beginning of one of the greatest transformations in economic history: “The great AI transformation.” But this development is much more than just the introduction of new technologies; it is the dawn of a new era – the era of “collaborative intelligence”!
Collaborative intelligence will not replace humans with Artificial Intelligence but will take over routine tasks as a new colleague, freeing us from tedious tasks and giving us time for what is essential. Because we do not have too little work - but too little time for the essentials and we are not productive enough in many tasks.
Successful AI projects require an AI platform – this is confirmed by current studies from McKinsey, BCG, KPMG, Arthur D. Little, Deloitte, PWC & Co.
The scenario in a company:
There is a sense of departure: Each department relies on its own AI tools to optimize processes. Marketing uses ChatGPT for content creation, controlling works with a specialized BI tool, and product development relies on a cloud-based image analysis. In addition, there are numerous specialized applications introduced by individual teams.
This creates a patchwork quilt:
Tool chaos: Each application brings its own interfaces, logins, and data formats. The IT department loses track, and sources of error accumulate.
No unified knowledge context: Information is scattered across different tools and data silos. Cross-departmental knowledge exchange is hardly possible – important insights are lost.
Increased activity but not increased productivity: Employees spend a lot of time transferring data between tools, fixing errors, and familiarizing themselves with new applications. The actual value creation falls by the wayside.
Solution 1: Taming tool chaos – central orchestration with the HUB
The neuland.ai-HUB consolidates all AI applications on one platform. Interfaces are managed centrally, and new tools can be flexibly integrated or exchanged. IT retains control, sources of error are minimized, and the system landscape remains clear and stable.
Solution 2: Unified knowledge context – knowledge integration in the HUB
The HUB links internal and external data sources, industry-specific ontologies, and expert knowledge into a shared knowledge space. This creates a central, searchable context for all departments, knowledge is shared, and synergies are leveraged.
Solution 3: From activity to productivity – automation and repeatability
With the HUB, AI workflows are automated and standardized. Data flows run smoothly, routine tasks are reliably completed. Employees gain time for value-adding activities, and productivity increases measurably.
The actual challenge lies in empowering people and organizations to trust the results of AI, AI workflows, AI assistants, and AI agents, and to accept them as an integral part of their working environment.
neuland.ai HUB as an AI management and orchestration platform
The neuland.ai-HUB is the leading AI management and orchestration platform for your company-wide AI deployment. It is the one AI platform your company needs to reorganize your business processes and IT systems around AI – securely, agilely, compliantly, reliably, and legally compliant.
Trust as the new currency of this transformation
Because only when employees experience AI as a reliable partner can the full potential of this technology be harnessed. Without trust, the change remains piecemeal – with trust, it becomes the engine of sustainable value creation. The parallels to the Industrial Revolution through the steam engine or to the digital transformation through the internet are obvious: At that time, people also had to learn to work with new technologies, rather than feeling threatened by them.
But the speed and depth of the current AI transformation are unprecedented. Companies that wait now risk losing touch. As a recent Google AI study states: “The hardest thing will be for the companies that wait!”
Our approach is based on three central principles:
empower – Empower your employees with the knowledge of your company, your experts, and your industry (Industry Competence Models).
protect – Protect your company knowledge in the secure AI space – the “Save AI-Space”.
transform – Enable continuous and agile AI transformation.
For new tools alone will not get us any further. Even Microsoft’s Copilot approach is too limited, as even Microsoft’s CEO Nadella states. The limits of a product-centered Knowledge Graph are all too clear. Microsoft Copilot is primarily limited in its knowledge and semantic search to Microsoft products and data sources (such as SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, and Teams).
Thus, the ability to systematically incorporate company-specific knowledge, industry-specific ontologies, and complex feedback loops is lacking. While Copilot can automate routine tasks, it only accesses knowledge within the Microsoft domain, often resulting in context-poor, poorly connectable results – a typical workflow risk. This limitation is critical, especially in regulated professions and sensitive mandate processes. External, company or industry-specific knowledge bases remain excluded. This changes radically with the integration of the neuland.ai-HUB. Statement by Nadella
AI is not a tool or add-on. It is the new core of your company!

Or as the CEO of Nvidia aptly puts it:
“In the future, companies will have two factories: one for their products and one for their AI applications.”
Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia
With the neuland.ai-HUB, we offer an AI platform that is specifically designed for this new era: modular, flexible, data protection compliant, and certified for the highest regulatory demands. It enables companies to deploy AI securely, collaboratively, and trustworthily – On-Premises, Hybrid, or in the Cloud. Our goal is to empower organizations and their employees to actively shape the AI transformation and win the future together with AI.
Transformation is not a one-time project but a continuous process – a mindset, a discipline, a journey. Comparable to the change brought about by the internet, it will not be the companies that understood the internet as a tool (Neckermann, Quelle, newspaper publishers, etc.) that will be the most successful, but the companies that organized their business (Amazon, Zalando, Meta, etc.) around the internet.
The great AI transformation will be won by the companies that reorganize their business, their processes, and their business model around an “AI management and orchestration platform”!
We wish you the courage to shape your own great AI transformation successfully.
