PRESS RELEASE
neuland.ai appoints interdisciplinary Future Advisory Board for responsible AI development
Cologne, 18 March 2026 – The Cologne-based AI technology company neuland.ai AG has established an interdisciplinary Future Advisory Board as an independent body to support the development and use of Artificial Intelligence in Germany and Europe in a responsible and forward-looking manner. The Future Advisory Board sees itself as a think tank at the intersection of science, business, politics, ethics, and society. It will advise neuland.ai on strategic questions surrounding AI and provide impulses for an AI transformation oriented towards the common good.
At the heart of the Advisory Board's work is the question of how Artificial Intelligence is changing value creation, the working world, social systems, education, administration, politics, and social coexistence, and how this development can be shaped responsibly. The Future Advisory Board will analyse the impacts of AI from diverse disciplinary perspectives, identify opportunities and risks at an early stage, and formulate practical recommendations for action, both for neuland.ai and for businesses, politics, administration, and civil society.
With the appointment of the Future Advisory Board, neuland.ai is structurally anchoring interdisciplinarity and social responsibility into its corporate strategy. The members bring proven expertise from science, politics, public administration, theology, ethics, medicine, business, and AI research. The aim is to develop guardrails for a sovereign, innovative, and common-good-oriented AI development, and to accompany neuland.ai on its path to becoming a trustworthy, secure, and regulatory-compliant AI platform "Made in Germany".
The results of the Advisory Board's work are intended to flow directly into the further development of the neuland.ai HUB, the AI management and orchestration platform of neuland.ai. In this way, ethical, legal, and societal requirements are to be consistently integrated into the platform strategy, put into practice as "Ethics by Design". The neuland.ai HUB is thus to be systematically expanded as a secure, legally compliant, and data-sovereign AI platform that enables companies, organisations, and public institutions to use AI in a trustworthy manner.
Karl-Heinz Land, CEO and founder of neuland.ai AG: "With the neuland.ai HUB, we have developed an AI management and orchestration platform that enables companies, public administrations, and organisations to use AI in a legally compliant, secure, and productive manner. The Future Advisory Board complements this technological basis with a strong interdisciplinary perspective. We are delighted that high-ranking personalities from ethics, science, politics, medicine, and business are prepared to accompany us in a critical yet constructive manner. Their experience and foresight will help us to reconcile responsibility, innovation, and regulation, and to develop AI solutions that meet societal demands."
The Future Advisory Board works on an honorary basis. The committee brings together personalities who stand for professional excellence, social responsibility, and foresight in shaping the future of AI. The Future Advisory Board currently consists of:
