PRESS RELEASE
Milestone for AI Innovation: neuland.ai gains access to the HPC infrastructure of RWTH Aachen University via the WestAI AI Service Centre
Cologne, 18 December 2025 – neuland.ai, a leading AI technology company, has been selected by the WestAI AI Service Centre to use 10,000 hours of GPU computing on one of Europe's most powerful academic high-performance computing infrastructures.
The research resources are available to the company immediately and free of charge, marking an important milestone in strengthening Europe's technological sovereignty. They open up the opportunity for neuland.ai to raise its research and development work to a new level and to specifically further develop AI "Made in Germany" for German medium-sized businesses and large corporations.
"The honour of gaining access to one of the world's most advanced supercomputing infrastructures is a real accolade for neuland.ai. This recognition is testament to our commitment to combining artificial intelligence with technological progress to solve complex industrial challenges efficiently, practically and sustainably."
Yunus Uyargil, CTO of the company
As a German company, neuland.ai develops AI technology specifically for the requirements of German medium-sized businesses and leading companies from regulated and knowledge-intensive sectors. Access to the cluster infrastructure of RWTH Aachen University represents an enormous technological advantage. With 15 computing nodes and four NVIDIA H100 GPUs each, the infrastructure offers a hardware base optimized for high-intensity AI calculations.
These technical resources allow neuland.ai to implement pioneering research projects and at the same time develop solutions that are tailored directly to the demanding needs of German companies.
"Our research is consistently oriented towards the real challenges and complex problems faced by companies in highly regulated and knowledge-intensive industries. neuland.ai combines research, product development and implementation to actively accompany companies on their journey to becoming an AI-first organisation."
Yunus Uyargil, CTO of the company
With the resources received, neuland.ai is also accelerating its research into enterprise reasoning systems that are reliable and auditable. These systems offer companies the opportunity to control complex decision-making processes in an automated and secure manner and already form the basis for many solutions that our customers use successfully every day. Access to the HPC infrastructure allows these core technologies to be further strengthened and expanded.
This award demonstrates once again how important neuland.ai's role is as a bridge between leading German research and industry. The HPC access not only strengthens the company's innovative power, but also its strategic independence. The use of European infrastructure reduces dependence on non-European providers and makes it possible to keep and further develop critical AI technologies within Europe. This underlines the company's research focus of creating technologies that are practical and economically relevant.
"The neuland.ai HUB is not just a simple AI platform, but a fully-fledged orchestration and management ecosystem," says Yunus Uyargil. "It enables companies to integrate AI into their organisation securely, efficiently and scalably. This gives our neuland.ai customers the opportunity to secure their digital competitiveness in the long term."
"For anyone who has an idea for an AI project but does not have the AI hardware or experience in dealing with it, we are the right contact partner"
Prof. Dr. Matthias Müller, Area Manager Hardware at WestAI and Director of the IT Center at RWTH Aachen.
For training large AI models, interested parties can access the high-performance computers of RWTH Aachen and Forschungszentrum Jülich – with or without further support from WestAI. "In this way, we provide companies and researchers with AI infrastructure that is otherwise reserved only for large corporations. Via our user-friendly JupyterHub interface, even AI newcomers can work with the system relatively easily," says Müller.
