Six open items make six paragraphs, and each one is written individually.

The differences are established, the references are to hand. For the letter, they have to be turned into sentences all over again, usually modelled on an older letter someone digs out of the shared drive. If the template comes from a different practice area, the wrong tone comes with it.

95 minutesper draftFind a template, write six paragraphs, insert eighteen references by hand.

What remains is the read-through: 60% less writing effort refers to the share of the 95 minutes spent hunting for a template and inserting the eighteen references.

The 60% reduction in writing effort is this agent's headline figure. The number of items, references and minutes per draft describe a typical claims case and are illustrative, not measured.

Three steps through the process.

The agent writes the claim item by item with references; the lawyer signs and sends it.

Carry the open items into the letter

The agent pulls every disputed item from the review, with its amount and reference. Items without a supporting document are left out and listed at the end.

File SD-7042/26, 6 items with 18 references imported

Write the paragraphs in the firm's voice

The agent writes a paragraph for every item using the firm's approved wording. It inserts the basis of claim, deadline and costs note as fixed blocks.

Draft with 6 paragraphs, 3 blocks, deadline 30 September 2026

Submit the draft for approval

The agent files the letter, with its full set of references, in the case file and flags it in the inbox. Approval and signature lie with the lawyer.

What the agent does not do.

It does not send the letter.

It files the draft with all references in the case file. The lawyer signs and sends it.

It does not set a deadline of its own accord.

It takes the deadline of 30 September 2026 from the instructions on file SD-7042/26. If the lawyer changes it, the draft changes, not the other way round.

It does not write a paragraph for an item without a supporting document.

It lists the claim for loss-of-use compensation, which has no evidence of the days lost, as an open point at the end of the draft. The case handler decides whether it goes into the letter anyway.

The questions that come up before the first meeting.

How quickly is the Claim Letter Agent ready to use?

A pilot typically runs on your own data within 4 to 6 weeks. The agent connects to your existing systems rather than running as a separate, parallel environment.

Where is the data processed?

EU cloud, private cloud or on-premises. Processing is GDPR-compliant and models are never trained on your data. Details in the Trust Center.

Where does the figure “60% less writing effort” come from?

It is based on experience from comparable projects and process benchmarks, not a commitment. We work out the realistic effect for your organisation during the assessment before the pilot.
