Decision Draft Agent

The most expensive paragraph in a decision is the one somebody copied over from last year.

Drafts administrative decisions from the case data; the draft stays a draft until a person has reviewed it.

The writing effort comes before the review, not after it

The case officer opens an earlier decision, copies the reasoning and the notice of legal remedies, and changes the names and amounts. What gets corrected in circulation afterwards is usually the inherited paragraph, not the case.

1inherited text blockOne paragraph comes from a decision issued last year.
2correction loopsThe unit head and the legal department each send the draft back once.
3versionsThree files share the same name, each with a version suffix.
75minutes to a signable draftWriting, two rounds of circulation and comparing the three versions add up to 75 minutes before the decision even goes for signature.

The effort lies in the writing and in keeping the versions in step. 75 minutes per decision drop to 20, because the draft is built from the case data and the approval stays documented.

The timings are the headline figure from the data sheet. The number of correction loops is an example of a typical circulation round.

Three steps through the process.

Before anyone signs, the agent checks mandatory details, reasoning and the notice of legal remedies against the current version of the text blocks. The authority's decision itself is settled beforehand, and the agent leaves it untouched.

Carry over the case data

The agent pulls the parties, the facts and the calculation from the specialist application and the electronic file into the draft. It does not fill in empty mandatory fields; it lists them at the top.

Case 2026/04711, 18 fields carried over, 2 of them empty

Set the reasoning and the notice of legal remedies

The agent takes the text blocks in their current version from the text block library of the specialist application. It shows the version of every block so that nobody inherits an old paragraph.

Enforce approval

The agent files the draft in the approval workflow and clearly marks it as a draft. Without an approval note from a person, the case stays open.

What the agent does not do.

It does not grant approval.

The draft stays a draft until a specialist signs it. The approval note carries a person's name, not the system's.

It does not judge whether the facts support the provision applied.

Approval, rejection and amount are settled before it writes. If the decision is missing from the specialist application, it produces no draft.

It does not know the start of the approval period if the field is empty.

It reads the 18 fields the specialist application holds for case 2026/04711. If no start date is recorded there, it does not take one from last year's decision; it puts the gap at the top of the draft.

The questions that come up before the first meeting.

How quickly is the Decision Draft Agent ready to use?

A pilot typically runs on your own data within 4 to 6 weeks. The agent connects to your existing systems rather than running as a separate, parallel environment.

Where is the data processed?

EU cloud, private cloud or on-premises. Processing is GDPR-compliant and models are never trained on your data. Details in the Trust Center.

Where does the figure “75 min → 20 min per decision” come from?

It is based on experience from comparable projects and process benchmarks, not a commitment. We work out the realistic effect for your organisation during the assessment before the pilot.
