A management briefing takes five exports and two days of groundwork.

Store revenue comes from the POS system, stock from the ERP, online business from the shop, customer data from the CRM. Two analysts bring the exports into a common structure, reconcile product categories and store codes and build the slides from them. If someone in the meeting asks for a different cut, it has to wait until the next one.

Whoever used to build the briefing now just checks it on Thursday. For the analysts, 60% less preparation time means exactly the two working days of groundwork the month used to take.

The 60% reduction in preparation time is this agent's headline figure. The 72 stores and two days of groundwork represent a retail group with store and online business; they are not measured values.

Three steps through the process.

The agent compiles twelve indicators and three fully calculated scenarios with their assumptions disclosed; it does not choose between the scenarios.

Bring system snapshots into one structure

The agent reads POS, ERP, shop and CRM data and matches up product categories and store codes. It shows differing cut-off dates separately.

July 2026, 5 sources, 72 stores mapped to one set of store codes

Show variances against plan

The agent compares actual with plan by product category and region. It highlights outliers in either direction, together with the source of the figure.

Rhine region, 4.1 million euros revenue, 380,000 euros below plan, source: POS system

Pass the briefing to executive management

The agent brings indicators, variances and the calculated scenarios together in one briefing. Executive management uses it to run the meeting.

briefing_juli2026.pdf, 12 indicators, 3 scenarios with disclosed assumptions

What the agent does not do.

It does not change plan figures or put forward any store for closure.

It sets actual, plan and variance side by side for each region and product category. Executive management signs off what follows from that; store planning enters the revised plan figure in the ERP.

It does not take responsibility for the assumptions it uses to calculate a scenario.

It takes them exactly as given and shows them in the briefing next to the result. The assumption that online business will keep bringing in 9.4 million euros a month through the autumn is the Chief Commercial Officer's responsibility, as it is his.

It does not count stock from a stocktake still in progress.

It uses the stock levels booked in the ERP. A store that has not yet completed its stocktake appears with the level from the last booking.

The questions that come up before the first meeting.

How quickly is the Executive Commerce Agent ready to use?

A pilot typically runs on your own data within 4 to 6 weeks. The agent connects to your existing systems rather than running as a separate, parallel environment.

Where is the data processed?

EU cloud or private cloud. Processing is GDPR-compliant and models are never trained on your data. Details in the Trust Center.

Where does the figure “60% less preparation time” come from?

It is based on experience from comparable projects and process benchmarks, not a commitment. We work out the realistic effect for your organisation during the assessment before the pilot.
