One missing detail on the form holds up the case for eleven days.

The request arrives at grid services, the specialist opens it and finds that the meter number or the device data sheet is missing. She writes to the connecting party, sets a follow-up date and moves on to the next case. When the reply arrives, she has to get back into the case from scratch.

9mandatory detailsMeter number, connection address, power rating, device data sheet and other fields belong in every request.
1missing detailThe request for the heat pump lacks the data sheet with its electrical power rating.
11 dayswaiting timeThat is how long the case sits between the query and the connecting party's reply.
3times the same request is openedOn receipt, at the query and on picking it up again after the reply, someone has to read up on it afresh each time.

The case is opened once rather than three times, because the missing mandatory detail is already in the letter on the day of receipt, and processing is 55% faster.

The 55% is this agent's headline figure. The number of mandatory details, the waiting time and the times the case is opened reflect a typical process in grid services and do not come from a measurement.

Three steps through the process.

The grid connection specialist signs the connection approval; the agent captures the request in full and assigns it to a connection case.

Check the request for mandatory details

The agent reads the incoming request and checks it against the nine mandatory details. It names each missing field.

Request NA-2027-3308, 8 of 9 mandatory details provided

Classify the connection case by device and power

The agent assigns the request to the right connection case by device and requested power and checks whether it falls under the requirements for digital connection procedures. The classification and its reasoning are recorded on the case.

Heat pump 11 kW, classified as a controllable consumption device

Create the case with a request for the missing details

The agent creates the case in the network information system and attaches the letter naming the one outstanding detail. The grid connection specialist approves it.

nachforderung_na-2027-3308.pdf, 1 outstanding detail, heat pump data sheet

What the agent does not do.

It does not approve a grid connection.

It presents the captured case with its classification and the outstanding detail. The grid connection specialist signs the approval.

It does not recalculate capacity in the local grid.

It records the requested power and the connection address. *Grid planning checks in the network calculation software whether the feeder can carry the heat pump.*

It does not send letters to the connecting party.

The draft naming the outstanding detail is attached to case NA-2027-3308. Grid services decides whether and when it goes out.

The questions that come up before the first meeting.

How quickly is the Grid Connection Guide Agent ready to use?

A pilot typically runs on your own data within 6 to 8 weeks. The agent connects to your existing systems rather than running as a separate, parallel environment.

Where is the data processed?

EU cloud or private cloud. Processing is GDPR-compliant and models are never trained on your data. Details in the Trust Center.

Where does the figure “55% faster processing” come from?

It is based on experience from comparable projects and process benchmarks, not a commitment. We work out the realistic effect for your organisation during the assessment before the pilot.
