Technician Agent

Ten at night and the press has stopped. The one person who knows it has gone home, and the manual is 80 kilometres away.

Knows the manuals, service reports and machine history, and suggests next steps.

A fault at 10 pm, three phone calls and a second call-out the next morning.

The technician stands at the machine and first tries to find out who has dealt with this fault before. The service report folder is in the specialist system, the manual for the model series somewhere else, the machine history in a third location. Until all three are together, the line stays down, and whatever was sorted out on the phone never makes it into a report.

1fault reportThe press in Hall 2 reports fault code E-114 at 22:10.
3storage locationsManual, service reports and machine history sit in separate systems.
40minutes of searchingThat time goes on gathering information before the first hands-on step.
1repeat call-outIf the right spare part is not in the van, a second technician comes out in the morning.

If the fault code, machine history and manual section are already side by side when the technician arrives, the fault is fixed 45% faster.

The 45% is this agent's headline figure. The 40 minutes of searching before the first hands-on step describe a typical night-time fault; they were not measured.

Three steps through the process.

The agent brings together fault code, machine history and manual section; the technician on site decides which check is actually carried out on the press.

Match the fault to the fault code

The agent reads the fault report and matches it to the fault code for the model series. It names the relevant section of the manual.

Fault code E-114, manual for model series HP-63, section 7.4, page 112

Analyse the machine history of the press

The agent searches the service reports for this machine number for the same fault pattern. It states what helped last time and what did not.

4 hits for machine 2-0417 since 2023, 3 of them with the pressure switch replaced

Suggest next steps

The agent puts the possible checks in order and attaches the reference to each. The technician works through them and decides which step to take.

5 checks with references, step 1: measure pressure switch B12

What the agent does not do.

It does not work on the machine.

It names the check and the reference. The technician on site carries out every hands-on step, and also decides whether to take the step at all.

It says nothing about the condition of the press after the repair.

It supplies the history and the inspection path. The maintenance manager releases the machine.

It does not know what was settled on the phone and never reported.

It works only from the service reports in the system. A fix that two colleagues agreed between themselves only shows up once it is in a report.

The questions that come up before the first meeting.

How quickly is the Technician Agent ready to use?

A pilot typically runs on your own data within 6 to 8 weeks. The agent connects to your existing systems rather than running as a separate, parallel environment.

Where is the data processed?

EU cloud or private cloud. Processing is GDPR-compliant and models are never trained on your data. Details in the Trust Center.

Where does the figure “45% faster fault resolution” come from?

It is based on experience from comparable projects and process benchmarks, not a commitment. We work out the realistic effect for your organisation during the assessment before the pilot.
