Three systems report the same indicator at three different cut-off dates.

Production figures come from the MES, costs from the ERP, the order position from the CRM. Each source has its own cut-off date and its own name for the same quantity. Most of the preparation consists of explaining the differences between the extracts before anyone can talk about them.

3source systemsERP, MES and CRM deliver the figures for the monthly ops review.
17indicatorsSeventeen quantities are fixed on the agenda, from output to order intake.
5submissionsFive divisions send their extracts in their own spreadsheets.
2correction loopsThe paper goes back twice because two submissions carry different cut-off dates.

Five submissions, seventeen indicators, two correction loops: 60% of that preparation time disappears once the figures come out of the systems at the same cut-off date.

The 60% reduction in preparation time is this agent's headline figure. Seventeen agenda indicators and two correction loops reflect a typical monthly ops review cycle; they do not come from any measurement.

Three steps through the process.

Before every ops review, the agent brings the agenda indicators to one cut-off date and shows every variance with its source system; the meeting assesses them.

Bring indicators to one cut-off date

The agent pulls the seventeen agenda indicators from ERP, MES and CRM and reconciles them to the same cut-off date. It merges quantities that go by different names under one definition.

Ops review on 4 September, 17 indicators at the cut-off of 31 August

Show variances against the previous month

The agent compares every indicator with the previous month's value and the plan value. For every variance it names the source system and the underlying record.

4 indicators outside the plan corridor, each named with its source system

Forward the paper to the ops review

For every indicator that stands out, the agent puts the value, previous month, plan and underlying record into a paper. It adds the questions the Head of Manufacturing needs to answer at the plant.

ops_briefing_0409.pdf, 17 indicators, 3 questions on output at the Süd plant

What the agent does not do.

It does not decide on capacity or budget.

It presents the indicators with previous month, plan and source system. The decision is taken in the ops review and signed off by the COO.

It does not explain why an indicator deviates.

It shows value, previous month, plan and source system. The Head of Manufacturing looks into the cause at the plant.

An indicator the plant calculates by its own definition is shown only in the source system's version.

It shows output as it is recorded in the MES, with cut-off date and record. If that differs from the calculation the Süd plant keeps for itself, controlling and plant management agree before the meeting which definition applies.

The questions that come up before the first meeting.

How quickly is the Executive Operations Agent ready to use?

A pilot typically runs on your own data within 6 to 8 weeks. The agent connects to your existing systems rather than running as a separate, parallel environment.

Where is the data processed?

EU cloud or private cloud. Processing is GDPR-compliant and models are never trained on your data. Details in the Trust Center.

Where does the figure “60% less preparation time” come from?

It is based on experience from comparable projects and process benchmarks, not a commitment. We work out the realistic effect for your organisation during the assessment before the pilot.
