Two days of compiling for a briefing that is read in twenty minutes.

The analyst pulls prices and metrics from the market data terminal, holdings from the portfolio management system and notes from the research database. The figures go into the template, month-on-month changes are recalculated and text blocks from the last briefing adjusted. If a figure arrives late, it has to be updated in every section where it appears.

23positions in the mandateThat many securities and funds are discussed for one mandate.
6funds priced the next dayFor six positions the redemption price is only available the next morning, and every late price has to be carried through every section of the briefing.
2 dayscompilingThat is how long the analyst spends transferring figures and rewriting sections.
1fixed meeting dateThe investment committee meets on its scheduled day, and the date does not move.

The investment committee gets figures as at the reporting date, because 50% faster research cycles turn two days of compiling into one.

The 50% speed-up in research cycles is this agent's headline figure. The 23 positions in the mandate and the six funds priced the next day describe a typical run-up to a committee meeting; they are not measured values.

Three steps through the process.

The agent does not say whether to buy or hold; it compiles market data, holdings and research notes into a briefing and names the source of every figure.

Compare market data with holdings

The agent pulls prices, metrics and risk figures for the positions in the mandate and compares them with the booked holdings. It calculates the month-on-month change for every position.

Mandate PFM-4412, 23 positions as at 28 August 2026, 6 of them priced the next day

Flag anomalies in the portfolio

The agent flags every position whose metric falls outside the mandate's limits and attaches the research note. Every flag carries the value, the comparison value and the reference.

3 flagged positions, including issuer B above the mandate's weighting limit

Deliver the briefing for the committee

The agent builds a briefing from figures, flags and sources using the house template. The investment analyst adds his assessment before it goes to the committee.

briefing_PFM-4412_2026-09-01.pdf, 23 positions, every figure with source and reporting date

What the agent does not do.

It does not place an order.

It compiles data, flags and sources. The investment committee decides on buying and selling; execution happens in the trading system.

It does not make an investment recommendation.

It names the deviation, the comparison value and the reference. The investment analyst writes the judgement on it into the briefing.

Price movements after the reporting date are not in the briefing.

Every figure carries its reporting date, here 28 August 2026. For anything that happens in the market afterwards, the portfolio manager looks to the terminal, not the document.

The questions that come up before the first meeting.

How quickly is the Investment Research Agent ready to use?

A pilot typically runs on your own data within 6 to 8 weeks. The agent connects to your existing systems rather than running as a separate, parallel environment.

Where is the data processed?

EU cloud, private cloud or on-premises. Processing is GDPR-compliant and models are never trained on your data. Details in the Trust Center.

Where does the figure “50% faster research cycles” come from?

It is based on experience from comparable projects and process benchmarks, not a commitment. We work out the realistic effect for your organisation during the assessment before the pilot.
